World-class middle distance runner Tyler Mulder joins resident track correspondent Neil Flattery for an in-person chat about the Drake Relays, Olympic trials, and the inside scoop on competing professionally with the Oregon Track Club.
Highlights include training with the great Nick Symmonds and the humorous tale of rooming with a Polish Shot Putter while competing overseas.
A native of Orange City, Iowa, Tyler competed for the University of Northern Iowa and was the 2008 NCAA indoor Track and Field Champion in the 800 meter run, before turning pro.
